Church History

This Cemetery or Burial Ground was founded in 1897, and we understand it is still open.

Pleasley Hill Cemetery is, strictly speaking, in Nottinghamshire, and described in a Mansfield Bereavement Guide by Garry Grimshaw as ""a small village like cemetery which was opened in 1897 which still offers a community feel".

There is an adjacent Chapel building, with a distinctive late 19th century flavour. It is built of red brick, and has a large range of ancillary buildings attached.

Denomination

Now or formerly a Cemetery.

In most cases this will be a record of its original consecration.
