Congregational Chapel Cemetery,
Star Hill,
Forest Green, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

Church History

We don't know when this Cemetery or Burial Ground was founded, though it is now closed, but we don't yet know when.

This Cemetery was associated with Upper Forest Green Chapel, for which see the separate entry in this database. Old Maps show the Cemetery also had a Mortuary Chapel, but like the Chapel itself, this now appears to have been demolished. They were separated by the road (or track) marked on modern maps as Barton Close, the Chapel on the south side, and the Cemetery on the north side.

Denomination

Now or formerly a Cemetery (Congregational).

In most cases this will be a record of its original consecration.
